Defending Champions Peshawar Zalmi will face Quetta Gladiators in the Eliminator game at Lahore
The Eliminator game of Pakistan Super League 2018 will see Reigning Champions Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators battle it out to stay alive in the competition. The winner of this game will face Karachi Kings in the Qualifier 2 game of the competition.
Peshawar Zalmi has played excellent cricket in the last two games. Quetta Gladiators lost their way in the last couple of games but will try to make amends in this knockout game.
The Eliminator game of PSL 2018 will be played on 20th March at 9 pm at Gaddafi Cricket Stadium, Lahore and you can see all the action on our Android App (Link provided at the end of the Article).
Peshawar Zalmi seem to be peaking at the right time after producing back-to-back victories in the competition to secure their place in the playoffs. Kamran Akmal has raised his game for the side as he notched up a scintillating ton against Lahore Qalandars in the last game played at Sharjah.
Riki Wessels will open the innings with Akmal for this game. The English player will be keen to score runs for the side.

Dwayne Smith is a big player for Peshawar Zalmi and capable of producing big innings in this knockout game. The West Indian has scored 252 runs from 10 matches with one half-century to his name.
Saad Nasim and Mohammad Hafeez have scored valuable runs in the last two games for Peshawar. Captain Darren Sammy will also try to contribute with bat and ball.

Quetta Gladiators will see changes in their lineup as Kevin Pietersen, Jason Roy and Shane Watson refuse to make a trip to Pakistan for the playoffs. Asad Shafiq and Johnson Charles will replace Jason Roy and Shane Watson at the top of the innings.
Thisara Perera and Mahmudullah will play their first game for the side. Rilee Rossouw, Rameez Raja, and Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed have done well with the bat. Rossouw and Sarfaraz will hold the key for Quetta in this game.

Mohammad Nawaz has been splendid with the new-ball for the side. The left-arm spinner has produced tidy spells throughout the competition. Left-arm quick Rahat Ali has been excellent for the side and taken 11 wickets in 10 games.
Mir Hamza, Hasan Ali and Anwar Ali will be the other bowling options for Quetta Gladiators.It will be a closely contested game as Peshawar and Quetta are evenly matched teams in terms of batting and bowling.
