The Qualifier 1 game of Pakistan Super League 2018 will see Islamabad United take on Karachi Kings in the first knockout game of the competition. The sides met two days earlier, with Kings coming out on top against a depleted Islamabad lineup. Misbah-ul-Haq will be keen to make sure Islamabad produce their best cricket to book their place in the finals of the competition.

Babar Azam has been leading run-scorer for Karachi Kings with 339 runs in 10 games at an average of 42.37. The premier batsman has produced four half-centuries in the competition. Karachi Kings would be hoping that Azam can produce big runs for the side in this knockout game.
Colin Ingram played well in the last game for Karachi Kings. The left-handed batsman is an explosive player in the middle order and has the tendency to produce quick runs for the side at the back end of the innings. Ravi Bopara and Eoin Morgan will be crucial for Kings as England duo need to produce runs in this big game against Islamabad.
For Islamabad United, they need to win this game to qualify for the finals of the competition. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has been excellent as a leader as franchise topped the group stages with seven victories in ten matches. Luke Ronchi will make a comeback into the side after being rested for the last game. The opener has been in a splendid form of late for Islamabad and scored 289 runs in 9 match with best of 77* in the competition.
JP Duminy has been also been decent for the side and done well after being promoted to open the innings. Hussain Talat and Asif Ali have been exceptional for the side in the middle order. Shadab Khan and Samit Patel have done splendid job for the side. Faheem Ashraf has turned out to be a big surprise with the ball as all-rounder is leading wicket taker in the competition with 16 wickets in 10 matches.
