Misbah and co. will be keen to extend their lead at the top when they take on Quetta on Thursday
The 28th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will see top of the table, Islamabad United compete against Quetta Gladiators on Thursday. United look in ominous form with five wins on the bounce while Gladiators will be keen to win this game to gain confidence going into the playoffs of the competition.

Luke Ronchi has been in scintillating form for Islamabad United after smashing three half-centuries in the last five games. He has got the side to good starts and has formed a lethal opening combination with JP Duminy. Ronchi will be keen to continue rich vein of form in this game as well.
Duminy has proved to ideal foil for Ronchi at the other end. The left-handed batsman has done well since promoted to open the innings. Islamabad United Captain Misbah-ul-Haq has been superb with his selections and tactics on the field. He has yet to produce big runs for the side. Faheem Ashraf has been big plus for United in the bowling department as all-rounder is the leading wicket-taker for the franchise with 12 wickets in 8 games. Samit Patel and Shadab Khan have kept it tight and not allowed batsmen any get away with easy runs.
On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators suffered defeat at the hands of Lahore Qalandars in the last game played on Wednesday at Sharjah. Jason Roy played well in the last match at the top of the order. England opener will certainly be eyeing a big score given that it will be his last game for the franchise.
Shane Watson and Kevin Pietersen will hold the key for Gladiators in this contest. Both players have been instrumental with the bat for the side in the competition and will need to stand up against in-form Islamabad United.
Rameez Raja Jnr has not done much with the bat for Quetta Gladiators. Rilee Rossouw has found form in the last couple of games and produced consistently good scores for the side. The left-handed batsman is the most gifted player in world cricket as Quetta Gladiators will be hoping that he can produce something special with the bat.
