PCB has been in discussions with all franchise owners to stage the event in Pakistan this year.

Pakistan Cricket Board is planning to launch a T-10 League in Pakistan later this year after conducting two successful editions of Pakistan Super League. All the stakeholders agreed to the idea of hosting the event in Pakistan.

All owners of franchises agreed to launch T-10 League in Pakistan with the assistance and support of Pakistan Cricket Board. One of the Franchise owners spoke to the media in Dubai and stated that it is a great initiative taken by Pakistan Cricket Board to host a full edition of T-10 League in Pakistan and is a big step towards the revival of international cricket in the country.

All six teams will participate in T-10 League as the draft event will be held in December this year. Najam Sethi personally met with all the franchise owners in order to discuss the plans of hosting the T-10 League in Pakistan.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) received a lot of flak from all quarters for allowing Pakistan’s national team players to participate in the league. The idea of hosting the event in Pakistan has changed the perceptions of franchise owners and fans who are excited to see their favorite players in action at home venues.

Karachi Kings have been instrumental in promoting the idea of bringing T-10 League to Pakistan. The franchise has a  share of sorts in the T-10 League played in Sharjah. The league might create a furor back in the county as many cricket pundits feel that competition could have adverse on Pakistan’s domestic cricket scenario.
