The 26th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will see league toppers Quetta Gladiators looking to extend their lead at the top of the points table when they face Lahore Qalandars at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Quetta Gladiators are gathering momentum at the right time after winning three games in a row. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been excellent with his on-field tactics in the games played till now. Shane Watson has been in scintillating form with bat and ball. The all-rounder looks hungry to do well for the side after taking a long break from the T20 Leagues.

In the last game, Sarfaraz Ahmed produced a match-winning knock with the bat to see Quetta beat Peshawar by 6 wickets.
On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars are already eliminated from the competition but have won their last two games. Brendon McCullum and co. will try to play their best cricket as they have nothing to lose in this contest.
Agha Salman chipped in with a superb half-century to see Lahore Qalandars take the game to the final ball of the innings and win the game in the Super-over against Karachi Kings. The youngster has been sensational and showed a good technique to consistently produce runs for Lahore in this competition. Anton Devcich has been superb since being slotted into the lineup and has got the side off to decent starts in the last couple of matches.
Fakhar Zaman has not been in the best of form in the competition but still chipped in with useful runs at the top of the innings. The left-handed batsman will need to channel his aggression as keeps giving his wicket away after getting off to good starts in this season of PSL.
Brendon McCullum has dropped down the order to provide strength to the middle order that has been their Achilles heel this season. Captain has had to grind for his runs and chipped in with runs for the side.

Mitchell McClenaghan and Sunil Narine are two experienced bowlers in T20 cricket as they will be keen to make early inroads into Quetta’s star-studded middle order. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Sohail Khan have done well in the last two games for the side.
The last game played between the two sides at Dubai saw Quetta Gladiators complete a dominant win by 9 wickets. Things are certainly going to be different this time around as Lahore is coming into the contest on the back of consecutive victories.
