Multan Sultans take on in-form Islamabad United in a must-win game at Sharjah
The 25th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will see in-form Islamabad United compete against Multan Sultans at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. United led by Misbah-ul-Haq have been in superb form winning four games on the bounce and will look to go top of the table when they face Multan, who are placed fourth in the league table.
The 25th game of PSL 2018 will be played on 13th March (Tuesday) at 9 pm at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and you can see all the action on our Android App (Link provided at the end of the Article).
Multan Sultans will play their final round-robin game against United at Sharjah. Shoaib Malik and co. have lost momentum after losing their last three games on the trot. The side made a great start to the competition but seems to have lost the plot in the last couple of games.
Kumar Sangakkara has topped the batting charts for the side. Multan has been looked over-reliant on Sangakkara at the top of the innings. He has scored 260-odd runs from 9 games played so far and will be keen to get a good score in a must-win game against Islamabad United.
Ahmed Shehzad has been in good form and failed to capitalize on the good starts. The right-handed batsman will under pressure after not producing big scores in the competition.

Sohaib Maqsood has been a revelation at no.3 in the batting order. The youngster has produced runs for the side and would be keen to do well for Multan against Islamabad. Multan Sultans Captain Shoaib Malik has been in good form and chipped in with crucial runs for the side.
Kieron Pollard has not quite been at his best with bat and ball as Multan will be hoping he can come to the party in the final leg of the competition. Imran Tahir is leading wicket-taker in the competition. Multan Sultans will be hoping that Imran can produce wickets in the middle overs of the innings. Mohammad Irfan, Sohail Tanvir, and Junaid Khan will be first-choice bowlers for the side for this contest.
On the other hand, Islamabad United seems to be peaking at the right time after producing four wins in a row. Captain Misbah-ul-Haq and team management selections in the previous games have worked well. South Africa’s JP Duminy has done a superb job for the side as an opener alongside Luke Ronchi. The duo has got the side off to good starts in the league this season.

Samit Patel has been splendid with his left-arm orthodox spin for Islamabad United. Zafar Gohar also performed exceedingly well in the last game. Steven Finn also has been good with new-ball while Mohammad Sami will be keen to perform in this game. Faheem Ashraf has been a big surprise package with the ball, taking 10 wickets in the competition.
Islamabad United comfortably brushed aside Multan Sultans in the previous clash and will be keen to continue their winning trend at Sharjah on Tuesday.
