The 24th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will Lahore Qalandars take on Karachi Kings at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Qalandars have to win this game to stay alive in the competition while Kings would keen to get as many points as possible before the playoffs.

For Karachi Kings, Joe Denly produced a mesmerizing performance with the bat to help the side put up a big score on the board. Babar Azam also played well for his half-century and provided an able support to Denly who went after the bowlers from the start. Lendl Simmons failed to make an impact in this first game for Karachi but will be keen to do better against Lahore Qalandars.
Colin Ingram produced a brisk cameo in the last game against Multan Sultans. The left-handed plays a crucial role in the middle order alongside Ravi Bopara in the Karachi’s batting lineup. Bopara has not done much in the previous games of the competition. Shahid Afridi has been superb with the ball. The legendary all-rounder will be keen to produce a special knock with the bat.
Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, and Usman Khan bowled well in the last game against Multan. Karachi Kings Imad Wasim captaincy has been good so far while Mohammad Irfan Jnr also chipped with crucial wickets for the side.
On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars will have to produce their best cricket in order to stay alive in the competition. The situation looks grim as it will something special by Lahore to upstage Karachi in this contest.
New Zealand’s Anton Devcich has been doing well for the side in the opening slot alongside Fakhar Zaman. Brendon McCullum has been fairly consistent in the last couple of games and would be keen to chip with crucial runs in this contest. Zaman has got Lahore off to brisk starts but the main worry has been their middle-order that has not performed at all in this competition.

Gulraiz Sadaf played a nice knock replacing Dinesh Ramdin in the last game as wicket-keeper for the side. Shaheen Shah Afridi produced a breathtaking spell to set up the first-ever win for Lahore in the PSL 2018. The left-arm did cause a lot of problems to opposing batsmen. Sunil Narine, Mitchell McClenaghan, Sohail Khan produced tidy spells in the game against Multan Sultans.
