The 23rd game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will see reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi take on in-form Quetta Gladiators at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Defending Champions have suffered defeat in their last two games and will have to come up with something special to upstage a resurgent Gladiators side led by Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Kamran Akmal has been decent at the top of the order for Peshawar Zalmi. The wicket-keeper batsman will be keen to produce a big score for the side with three games remaining in the round-robin stages.

Andre Fletcher has got starts and failed to convert them into big scores. Mohammad Hafeez will be key for the side against Quetta. Dwayne Smith also has not been producing runs consistently as Peshawar will be hoping that he can produce something special with the bat. Darren Sammy will have to make changes to the lineup as results have not gone their way.
Liam Dawson has been decent with his left-arm orthodox spin. Wahab Riaz and Umaid Asif will be looking to make early inroads against Quetta Gladiators with the new-ball. Hasan Ali has not been his best as he has struggled to find a rhythm in the games played for Peshawar Zalmi.
On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators seems to be peaking at the right time after a dominant display with bat and ball against Karachi Kings. Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson was the star of the show with 90-odd runs in the last game. He has certainly been in splendid form for the side in the competition. He was found able support at the other end with Asad Shafiq playing well at the top of the innings.
Kevin Pietersen is the premier batsman for the side as he scored a crucial half-century to see beat Karachi by a big margin. Rilee Rossouw and Ramiz Raja have chipped with useful cameos in the games played so far. Quetta Gladiators Sarfaraz Ahmed has not done much with the bat.

Mohammad Nawaz has been splendid with the new-ball while Anwar Ali has made a comeback in the last couple of games. Rahat Ali and Ben Laughlin were economical in the last match played against Karachi Kings.
