The 17th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will see Quetta Gladiators take on league leaders Multan Sultans at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The last time the two sides met at Sharjah turned out to be a one-sided affair as Multan Sultan produced a dominant display with bat and ball.

Newcomers Multan Sultan have extended their lead at the top with 4 wins out of six games played in the competition. Shoaib Malik has led the way well as everyone in the lineup has chipped in with good performances. Sohaib Maqsood was the star of the show in the last game against Peshawar Zalmi. The youngster really showed his destructive abilities with the bat and just went berserk in the final overs of the innings.
Kumar Sangakkara and Ahmed Shehzad once again got the side off to a good start. Legendary Sri Lanka is the holder of Green Cap for most runs in the competition at the moment and will be keen to chip in with more runs for the side in this game.
Multan Skipper Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard have not been able to produce a big score. Sohail Tanvir was exceptional in the last game and picked up three wickets.
