The 16th game of 2018 Pakistan Super League will league leaders Multan Sultans battle it out against Peshawar Zalmi at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Shoaib Malik’ side has been superb so far in the competition and will be focused to maintain their winning run against Peshawar Zalmi.

Multan Sultans have produced dominant performances in their first ever PSL. Shoaib Malik has led the side well as a blend of experience coupled with emerging players has done the trick.
Kumar Sangakkara has been sublime with the bat and is the leading runs scorer in the competition. The left-handed batsman has smashed three half-centuries from five games and will hold the key for Multan in this game as well.
Ahmed Shehzad has played well and chipped in with good performances in the side. Sangakkara’s presence at the other end has definitely helped Shehzad take a better approach towards his batting in this competition.
Sohaib Maqsood played sensibly in the last game but needs to start producing runs on a regular basis to make an impression with the bat in the competition. Multan Captain Shoaib Malik and Kieron Pollard are accomplished players in the format and would be required to chip in with runs for the side. The duo has the ability to score quick runs at the back end of the innings.
Mohammad Irfan has been splendid so far for Multan with the new-ball. The left-arm quick has produced early breakthroughs for the side and is a menacing prospect to face early in the innings for opposition batsmen. Junaid Khan has picked up 7 wickets from 5 games including his hat-trick against Lahore Qalandars. The left-arm quick has been splendid at the end of the innings with the old ball.

Peshawar Zalmi have produced back-to-back wins in the PSL 2018. Kamran Akmal scored a half-century in the last game and has produced runs for the side. His opening partner Tamim Iqbal also has been managed to shrug off rustiness and chipped with runs in the last two games.
Captain Darren Sammy and Haris Sohail will not play this game as they are injured. Andre Fletcher and Hammad Azam will be slotted into the Final XI for this game
