The Mianwali-born leg-spinner spoke in an interview that he knew if he performed in PSL, he would definitely get his chance to play for Pakistan.
Shadab Khan made his debut in Pakistan Super League at the age of 18. He delivered superlative performances with the ball and surprised everyone with his bag of tricks. He bowled a terrific googly that flummoxed the opposition batsmen completely during the competition.
Pakistan’s premier one-day spinner has clearly termed PSL as a harbinger of hope for Pakistan Cricket as a lot of youngsters have come up and gained prominence through this platform. He said that PSL does bring out the best in you as a player as the level of cricket is at par with other T20 Leagues in the world.
The youngster said that he aims to do well for Pakistan in all the formats. He has achieved a lot in short span of time and has coined winning ICC Champions Trophy for Pakistan as the most memorable moment in his cricketing career.
He has gained recognition and has played in leagues like Caribbean Premier League and Big Bash League this year. Shadab Khan has stated that he wants to Test cricket for Pakistan and working hard on his game to represent his country in all three formats of the game.
