PSL 2018: Peshawar Zalmi vs Multan Sultans:
The excitement and craze has certainly its peak as the third season of Pakistan Super League will begin from 22nd February. Reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi will take newbies Multan Sultans at Dubai International Cricket Stadium at 10 pm (PST).
This season is certainly going to draw bigger numbers in terms of cricketing fans as first two editions turned out to be a great success for Pakistan Cricket. The game will take place shortly after the conclusion of the opening ceremony for PSL.
Defending champions Peshawar Zalmi have played well in the first two editions and managed to win their maiden crown last year in Lahore. The side led by Darren Sammy certainly deserved their success despite Quetta Gladiator lack of key players for the final played in Lahore. Tamim Iqbal, Kamran Akmal, and Wahab Riaz are three big names for Zalmi. Shakib Al Hasan might also play a leading role for the side in the competition due to his abilities with bat and ball.
Dwayne Bravo might be the player to look out as West Indies all-rounder will be keen to do something special with bat and ball.
Newcomers Multan Sultans will be keen to make an impression with the bat. The side led by Shoaib Malik will try to produce their best cricket in their inaugural season. Ahmed Shehzad turned out to be a great selection for Multan Sultan during PSL draft. The batting department looks strong with likes of Kumar Sangakkara, Kieron Pollard and Darren Bravo in their ranks.
Imran Tahir might not be available and will form a decent attack along with Umar Gul and Mohammad Irfan. Thisara Perera might play this game in place of Tahir.
