Australia’s T20 superstar Chris Lynn has suffered from a shoulder injury during the trans-Tasman final against New Zealand played on Wednesday. The right-handed batsman left the outfield to go for further examination.

Lynn was trying to stop a ball smashed by Ross Taylor and as a result, fell awkwardly to see holding his shoulder in anguish. Australia’s medical staff confirmed that Lynn has dislocated his right shoulder and will not take part in the rest of the game. During 2017 Indian Premier League, Lynn suffered from a shoulder injury and missed the whole season for Kolkata Knight Riders. Pakistan Super League is about to begin from Thursday as franchise Lahore Qalandars has suffered a setback of sorts with Chris Lynn ruled out of the competition due to a shoulder injury. He might be available for Indian Premier League played in April.

Australian Team Physiotherapist Alex Kountouris said that Chris has suffered from a dislocation on his right shoulder when trying to attempt a dive in order to stop the ball. He will go further examination and a timeline would be given for his comeback.

It is a bad news for Pakistan Super League and fans as Chris Lynn is a hot commodity in the T20 format at the moment. He will go back to Brisbane to undergo rehabilitation process in order to get back to full fitness.
