Peshawar Zalmi sign former Pakistani off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq as a bowling consultant for Pakistan Super League 2018. Defending Champions will be keen to successfully defend their crown for the upcoming third season.
Zalmi Head Coach Mohammad Akram did make a formal announcement that Saqlain Mushtaq will prove to be an asset for the franchise for the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League. Akram said that young players will learn a great deal from Saqlain, as he was the first spinner to come with the delivery coined as “Doosra”. He will join the Peshawar Zalmi squad on Sunday in Dubai. The 41-year old has credible experience for the role as he has done various gigs with England cricket team. He has never been appointed to any role for Pakistan cricket team. The third season of Pakistan Super League will begin from 22nd February. The two big playoff games will be played at Gadaffi Cricket Stadium, Lahore and the final will be played on 25th March in Karachi.
Saqlain Mushtaq will be keen to have a good time while working with the franchise Peshawar Zalmi for the coming season. Pakistan Super League 2018 will see reigning champions Peshawar take on newcomers Multan Sultans in the opening game.
