Multan Sultans is the newest franchise that will take part in the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League. The new franchise is all geared up to unveil their side in a grandeur event at Multan Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
The event has been named as “Multan Da Muqabla”, as franchise wants to create a historic atmosphere. The franchise will stage an exhibition cricket match, where Director Operations for Multan Sultans, Wasim Akram will lead Sultan XI against Shoaib Malik’s Toofan XI.
Former opening batsman Imran Nazir will play for Multan Sultans in the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League will also take part in this exhibition game. Nazir has been out of action for a long time and will take the cricketing field after four years.
Ahmed Shehzad, who is set to play for Multan Sultans in this upcoming season of Pakistan Super League is set to play this game. The team will consist of four players from Multan Sultans squad, two emerging players from club cricket, one from AMK associates and one deprived kid of Muslim Hands Foundation.
The official launch for Multan Sultans will include stage performances by well-known singers like Nadeem Abbas, Waqar Ehsan, and UK Sahara etc.
