When it comes to T20 Cricket, the game is largely in favor of batsmen who go out with no-holds-barred approach and slay bowlers to all parts of the ground. Smaller grounds, placid pitches make for compelling viewing as cricket fans do want to see plenty of fours and sixes in a particular game. There were plenty of batsmen selected during the draft process that might steal the show in the PSL 3. Let’s take a look at five players who can possibly rule the roost in PSL 3.

Chadwick Walton

West Indies batsman has gained prominence in the T20 format after producing superlative performances in the Caribbean Premier League. Walton was leading runs-scorer for Guyana in last year’s competition. He is an aggressive player who can take the game away from the opposition in no time. He could prove to be a productive player for Islamabad United as Misbah-ul-Haq will be keen to find a probable replacement for Haddin who was released by the franchise this season.

Colin Ingram

The left-handed batsman has certainly been in the form of his life after signing a Kolpak deal last year. Ingram performed exceptionally in the NatWest T20 Blast 2017 and got recognition for his batting as he is currently playing for Adelaide Strikers in the ongoing Big Bash League. Ingram was bagged by Karachi Kings during the PSL draft held in Lahore. The South African is certainly an experienced player and can produce his best with the bat in the PSL 3.

Chris Lynn

The right-handed batsman is a destructive player in the format and can destroy any attack in the world when on-song with the bat. Pakistan fans will be praying they get to see Chris Lynn in full flow with the bat in PSL 3.

Maqsood has shown superb form with the bat in the Domestic T20 competition and eye the tournament to make a comeback into the national side. The right-handed batsman has immense talent and will be determined to do something special for Multan Sultans, who are newbies to the league.

Jason Roy

England opener has produced impeccable performance at the start of the year. Roy has been in superb form and scored with greater consistency in the one-day series against Australia. He looks like a transformed player after facing the axe during ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Roy was picked up by Quetta Gladiators in the PSL draft at a good price. The right-handed batsman will be focused to produce something special with the bat in PSL 3.
