PSL 2018 Schedule and Fixtures

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have finalized the schedule for Pakistan Super League 2018 that will begin on 22^nd February. The league opener will see reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi take on newbies Multan Sultans at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The upcoming third edition will see the competition being played in UAE and then two eliminators will be staged in Lahore. The final of the PSL 2018 will be played at National Cricket Stadium, Karachi on 25^th March. PCB said that Dubai is set to stage the opening ceremony of the competition on 22^nd Feb after which the opening game will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and new franchise Multan Sultans.

PSL 2018 will see six teams play each other twice in the preliminary stages as only four teams will make the playoffs of the competition. Cricket fans will get every opportunity to see their favorite players in action in 34 games played in the PSL 2018 across four venues in UAE and Pakistan.

Pakistan Cricket Board also stated that all the round-robin games including the first playoff will be played in UAE. The venues for the competition are Dubai and Sharjah. The board also said in the press released that they are trying to make efforts to make sure they make best possible arrangements for the two playoffs games that will be staged in Lahore along with the final in Karachi in the PSL 2018.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said that third season is probably going to be a bigger success for many reasons. Sethi said that it is the best platform for Pakistan to showcase their young talent in front of the cricketing world. PSL 2018 is certainly going to be bigger and better for fans who want more games to be played in Pakistan.
